Tom of HaSatan

Time 0 - 3:05min

In Tom's "There's Not so much New under the son" teaching, he begins by building his strawman  "the New Testament Christian"By making the claim that we "Christians" hold to what he calls  "commonly misunderstood Notions"  concerning the New Testament.  Which according to Tom; his teaching is to correct in our minds our error concerning the New covenant doctrine.  These "commonly misunderstood notions" according to tom; is that we Christians believe the sermon on the mount is not only a brand new doctrine but also the Brand New Law of the Brand New Covenant, which according to tom is false doctrine or to put it nicely "commonly misunderstood notions".  Either way, he has created his strawman within the first minute of his "doctrinal" video.

Now that tom has his strawman standing at attention, he proceeds to layer them with a few more false accusations...

That we "Christians" believe that Yahweh made a mistake when he made the Law of Moses so Yahushua came along and fixed it for Him. -Tom

That we believe that Yahweh's law was old and antiquated and outdated and no longer really applicable to life so Yahushua came along and had to fix everything. By replacing it with the so called "commandments of Christ. -Tom

And we also teach that Jesus is teaching new things that had never been heard. But it's not true; Yahushua was not coming to fix anything. to fix the law and say it was broken - Tom

In less then the first three minutes Tom has painted the "New Covenant Christian" as one who teaches and believes; that god makes mistakes" and " that God's law is not relevant and Broken".

In other words; the New Covenant Christian is ignorant to Gods Word and the enemy of the Word and should be considered false brethren for twisting the word.  This could not be any further from the truth.  But for now we will entertain Toms description of the "Christian", and we will return later to exposé it.

Now that Tom has shed some light on how he views the "New Covenant Christian", let's take a minute and shed some light on "Tom of Eliyah" as he calls himself.  Tom fancy's himself a rabbi of what is known as the Hebrew Roots Movement.  If your not familiar with this movement, we offer other studies that cover the many facets concerning it and also Their core doctrine the "renewed covenant.

According to tom the reason for putting out this teaching, is to "correct in our minds the error" of new.  we will see as we go through this teaching, its not so much an attempt at correction, but a brainwashing of renewed covenant precepts injected into the New Law given on the mount.  If your not familiar with the "renewed covenant doctrine", there are other studies that we offer that go into the many facets of this 2000 year old false "renewed" doctrine.  for the next hour and twenty eight minutes of tom teaching, through the means of subtle sloppy sophistry

Renewed Covenant------

Tom- that the sermon is some new doctrine that no one has ever heard before, and everyone was just stunned... according to Tom that is false "doctine". -1:00

Tom- the new things- Baptizing in the name of Jesus

Partaking in the body of Christ

The blood of Messiah - Passover

Time 3:07 - 3:55min

Tom- " But" Does not mean he came to radically change existing teachings... no, just to fulfil the law....

Tom- The actual truth is This "There's Not so Much New Under the Son"...     -The actual Lie

Tom- What "Messiah"  came to do, actually was to shed light on the intention and the meaning and the principles and the application of the existing teaching the Yahweh had already given to Israel...  (Renewed Covenant)

What he came to Actually do was "to fulfill" the law.

So He Could be Established as the "New Covenant".

Tom-And the thing that he taught was not necessarily an opposition to anything the Yahweh had taught before in Torah, in the law of Yahweh.

“And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
Matthew 7:28 King James Version

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
Mark 1:22 King James Version

“And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.”
Mark 1:27 King James Version

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
John 13:34 King James Version

“Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.”
Acts 5:28 King James Version

“And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is?
Acts 17:19 King James Version

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Romans 16:17 King James Version
